From remodeling to dream home

Melissa has been an enthusiastic elementary school teacher for over 12 years and is currently teaching grade 5. Three years ago, she moved into her charming 1980s home. An ideal property thanks to its smart layout and spacious rooms.

Right after receiving the keys, Melissa embarked on a full home renovation. She transformed the house with a brand new kitchen, modern bathroom and toilet, freshly plastered walls, and contemporary paint colors. These stylish upgrades turned the well-structured house into a warm, inviting home. Perfect for comfort and everyday living.

Melissa’s home style is best described as a charming blend of romantic interior design with touches of Scandinavian minimalism, all wrapped in soft, calming colors. Melissa’s favorite items? Her coffee tables, her stylish lounge chair, and of course, the comfy Finn sofa. Her creativity shines through in her hobby: designing decorative tiles with unique prints under the name Tegeltjespracht. With her plotter, a love for organizing, and an eye for styling, she’s always adding fresh, personal touches to her home.
