Studio Fleur Sophie
Fleur creates a unique atmosphere by combining Scandinavian design with calm and muted tones. The result is a perfect balance between serenity and colour. Get inspired by her styling of the Vita and Finn modular sofas.
The face behind @studiofleursophie
Since childhood, Fleur has always had a love for interiors. After completing her study as an interior consultant and several years of experience at an interior design agency, she decided to start her own interior design studio. With Studio Fleur Sophie, she offers various interior design packages, tailored to personal wishes and lifestyles.
Her signature style is Scandinavian, with a focus on modern shapes and a balanced use of colour. Remarkably, white hardly appears in her designs - instead, she works with grey tones and tone-on-tone combinations to create a harmonious, warm and characterful whole.
‘I show people that they can create serenity using colour in particular'
Inspiration
‘Inspiration for a Scandinavian interior can be found everywhere,’ says Fleur. Whether it's while strolling through a bustling city or in an atmospheric restaurant. Besides this, of course, online platforms like Pinterest and Instagram are also good sources of inspiration, where you can find endless styles, trends and creative ideas!
‘The fun part of my job? The process of turning a disjointed wish list into a thoughtful whole, surprising the client with the end result and making sure it feels its own.’
Designer sofas Vita and Finn
Fleur discovered By SIDDE's collection of Scandinavian designer sofas on Instagram: ‘The algorithm brought us together,’ she laughs. ‘I love rich and blended fabrics as they bring the colours in an interior together subtly and harmoniously.’ This is reflected in the two designs created with the different modular sofas.
The Scandinavian element sofa Vita immediately attracts attention with its rich fabric and round shapes. Fleur likes to add warmth and deliberately cushions in old rose and burgundy shades, which create an inviting atmosphere. She also creates lightness and balance by adding a fresh blue accent colour. The round coffee tables in different materials, which give the design a playful look, are her favourite items!
Modular sofa Finn immediately impresses with its rugged look. ‘The sleek shape and melange fabric give the sofa a Scandinavian, yet inviting feel,’ he says. The hue matches perfectly with the frequently used green accents in the room, creating a nice balance. The design was further enhanced with a personal touch; the Fatboy dogs, another favourite of Fleur's! A playful nod to Scandinavian design that gives the space that little bit extra.

Interior advice from Fleur
Fleur stresses the importance of colour: a soft base colour makes combining accent colours easier because of the subtle contrast. For dynamic décor, she recommends working with different heights; a hanging plant or lamp adds vibrancy without making the room feel too heavy.
An important tip when choosing your sofa? ‘Think carefully about your lifestyle and choose a sofa that offers a cosy space.’
